Pat Wood-Collier

Pat Wood-Collier has a Masters of Counselling and is a graduate member of Christian Counsellor’s Association Australia (CCAA). She works with those who are experiencing or have experienced trauma. Trauma from loss, abuse, addiction, violence, identity or neglect.
Pat integrates her faith with professional practice using tailored therapies applicable to any need that presents itself. Working within a trauma informed modality, she draws from various different therapeutic frames which include Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Experiential or Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Her extensive experience in crisis and trauma support, as well as her lived experienced with pathological mental health, has given her a heart to support, grow, help and heal broken people.
Pat has a business background and has been involved in Telephone and Crisis mental health with Lifeline and Samaritans.

Presently she works privately out of Hope Centre in Haberfield and Compassion Counselling in Gladesville as a Counsellor. Pat works as a Gambling Counsellor for Wesley Mission at Oakdene House in Fairfield and alongside Penny leading addiction groups at The Overcomers Place in Gladesville.
